Shaveta Berjeshwar Jaswal launched The Chandigarh United Football academy
Academy will provide kits and other equipment’s to student players free of cost
CHANDIGARH, 29 MARCH: Today Shaveta Berjeshwar Jaswal launched The Chandigarh United Football academy at Hotel Mount View, sector 10, Chandigarh. Shaveta Berjeshwar Jaswal announced that her main objective to open a academy is to offer professional football training to young student players between the age of 6 to 21 years. She said Academy will Provide efficient & focused coaches and staff who will foster the development of each player and work towards the vision to develop technical abilities of student players that will eventually lead them to a successful football career.
Student Players will be taught to demonstrate good sportsmanship and the importance of teamwork. Being a fitness lover my aim is to develop a place where one can not only improve fitness level but also can learn skill to live smart and healthy life. Football is the best sport. It requires lot of energy, passion and fitness. We are not taking any fee from any student right now.
Academy will provide kits and other equipment’s to student players free of cost. She said that academy will take care of the needs of the student players and will also help in their education. Academy will announce a working team within next month. Academy will train its players initially at Sector 22 Model School and we are also in process of developing a personal ground of Academy at Mohali. In next phase she will construct world class hostels and fitness center in academy. She will run and manage finances with sponsor’s support. She said that her dream is to launch THE CHANDĪGARH UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB. She informed that she had already selected players in various trials. Sh. Ranjit Singh Rana will be the Head Coach of Academy. The event was attended by Sh. Anup Gupta, Mayor, Sh. Kanwar Rana, SR. Deputy Mayor, Sh. Arun Sood, BJP, Chandigarh, President, Smt.
