Sidhu had pledged to uplift Nishan Sahib at Red Fort on Republic Day 2021.
CHANDIGARH: Actor Deep Sidhu, who has appeared in several Punjabi films, died in a road accident in Haryana on Tuesday, February 15, SHO Kharkhoda confirmed.
The accident happened around 9pm on the Kundli – Manesar – Palwal Expressway.
Sidhu came to prominence last year after claiming to be responsible for uplifting the Nishan Sahib at Red Fort on Republic Day 2021, during a tractor meeting led by farmers.
Sidhu was born in the Jatt Sikh family in the Punjab region in Sri Muktsar Sahib in 1984. She had started her acting career at the age of 31, and became very popular with Jora 10 Numbaria (2017).
