CHANDIGARH, 27 SEPTEMBER: NSUI wing of Panjab University today staged a candlelight march in Panjab University, led by H.S. Lucky, President of Chandigarh Congress and Sachin Galav councilor Ward No.13 Chandigarh and NSUI Chandigarh Incharge Hussain Sultania. Candle March started from Girls Hostel no. 4 and ended at Student Centre on the issue of the brutal murder of Ankita Bhandari by BJP leader’s son in Uttarakhand state. Hundreds of students joined this March. students raised slogans against the BJP government. and expressed shock and dismay over this incident.
Other senior leaders Karan Randhawa, Rahul kumar, Monu Gurjjar, Johnny, Sikandar Boora, Pardeep Gurjjar, Rajkaran took part in March.
H.s. lucky President Chandigarh congress demanded justice for Ankita and said that speedy trial should be held in this case and guilty should be given exemplary punishment.
