CHANDIGARH, 11 JANUARY: A delegation of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal consisting of Charanjiv Singh, Ravinder Singh Billa, Parshotam Mahajan, Baljinder Gujral, Pritpal Singh Sodhi and Sanjeev Grover today called on Sh. Naveen Sharma, Assistant Labour Commissioner.
Delegation extended thanks to him on behalf of Shopkeepers of the City for introducing One Time Registration of Shops under Commercial Establishment Act and for providing Certificate to Shopkeepers within one day.
As the One Time Registration is to be applied online only but fees which ranges from Rs.1000/- to Rs.5000/- for various categories which is to be deposited in SBI Treasury Branch, Sector 17 only. This cause unnecessary delay and inconvenience to the applicants and CBM demanded online facility of payment of the required fees while filing application online only instead of the Bank payment. Assistant Labour Commissioner assured the delegation that this facility preferably shall be initiated soon before 26th January, 2023 only.
