CHANDIGARH: On DATED 16/7/2021, around 7:00 pm, a person named Balwinder Singh started threatening traders and demanding goods from the shopkeepers free of cost and somewhere on discount by pretending himself to be an employee of the Excise and Taxation Department in the market. Shopkeeper immediately informed Sh. Baljinder Gujral President of Keshoram Complex Welfare Association about the matter, after that an instant message was forward in the WhatsApp group of Keshoram Complex. President Baljinder Gujral immediately rushed to his market complex, after that they traced the location of the fake person caught red handed and all shopkeepers gathered in front of shop number 682 street number 9.
President informed immediately to the police Chowki in-charge and handover the fake person who is saying himself as excise & taxation officer to police, after that the police department came into action, he took the person to the Police Chowki, & during interrogation it was found that this person is not working in any Excise and Taxation Department. He doesn’t work in any other government department, the shopkeepers who gathered there told one by one from where they had taken this stuff, and other things during the last one month, and case have been registered against the fake person Balwinder Singh on the demand of President & Shopkeepers of Kesho Ram Complex , Burail, Sector 45 Chandigarh.
