Dharamshala has been hit by flash floods after a cloudburst on the intervening night of July 11 and 12, 2021, according to media reports.
A cloudburst triggered a flash flood in Dharamshala, As a result, many vehicles were washed away and caused damage to properties in the Bhagsu Nag area.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) website showed that the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh recorded actual rainfall of 79.4 millimetres, the normal is 21.2 mm.
The departure is 275 per cent according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). These figures were recorded between 8.30 pm 11th July to 8.30 am 12th July.
