CBM SENDS MEMORANDUM TO ADMINISTRATOR UT: APPEAL TO RESTORE REGULAR SHOPPING HOURS IN THE CITY IMMEDIATELY

CBM ALSO PUTS DEMAND OF PRIORITY VACCINATION OF TRADERS AND STAFF AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUBSTANTIAL RELIEF PACKAGES TO GIVE BOOST TO COMMERCE IN THE CITY

CHANDIGARH: In order to seek early reliefs for traders of the city and in view of much improved CORONA situation, Chandigarh Beopar Mandal has sent memorandums to Administrator UT and Advisor to Administrator U T demanding restoring of regular shopping hours from 10 am to 8 pm in the markets.

Charanjiv Singh President CBM said as Carona cases have substantially decreased and other graphs are also well in control, hence shops should be allowed to opened till 8 PM so that traders get opportunity to rebound their buisness.

Diwaker Sahoonja Patron Cum Chief spokesperson of CBM while supporting all anti COVID measures said he is hopeful that staff and management of all traders be given COVID vaccination on priority basis for 18-45 years segment and also some kind of special relief packages and financial assistance shall be announced by the Govt.
