Main Market Welfare Association Sector 38-C Chandigarh celebrated 77th Independence Day

CHANDIGARH, 16 AUGUST: Main Market Welfare Association of Sector 38-C, Chandigarh celebrated the 77th Independence Day on 15th August in the Market of 38-C. Traders from the market and Office Bearer of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal participated in the event.

On this occasion Jagtar Singh, President of the Market welcomed the Guests and B.C. Thapar, General Secretary of the market welcomed the President of the Beopar Mandal Chandigarh and who was Chief Guest for yesterday. B.C. Thapar emphasis the sacrifice done by the Desh Bhagat and Martyrs who laid down their life for the Independence of India.

National Flag was hosted by the Chief Guest S. Charanjiv Singh, S. Jagtar Singh in the presence of Office Bearers of Market Association and Chandigarh Beopar Mandal. S. Harbhajan Singh, S. Jagtar Singh, B.C. Thapar, Tarun Gupta, Avinash Singla, Vinay Bawa and Parshotam Gulati was present from the Market Association. Charanjiv Singh, Parshotam Mahajan, Anil Vohra, Sanjeev Chadha, Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, Pritpal Sodhi, Ravinder Singh Billa, Rajan Mahajan, Sanjiv Grover and Harjit Singh was present from the Chandigarh Beopar Mandal.

Charanjiv Singh, President, CBM while extending congratulation for occasion of 77th Independence Day to all the present said we should not forget sacrifice of Freedom Fighters and do our duty for the Welfare of the State, Society and Poor Citizens. He also requested the members to participate in the Swach Suraksha Sarvekshan and keep your markets and neighborhood clean so that Chandigarh can come at No.1 Rank.

A Bicycle was donated by Charanjiv Singh, President, CBM to a poor girl student Mansi so that she can go to the school regularly and continue her studies. Sh. D.D. Gupta, Patron, Bharat Vikas Parishad later on announced to meet all expenses on the education and medical of the girl till her graduation. Ladoo, Samosa and Tea was distributed to all the members present and slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Matram was spoken loudly number of times.
