CHANDIGARH, 26 JULY: Chandigarh Beopar Mandal appreciated Municipal Corporation for keeping parking fee in the City as rationalized to Rs.15 for first four hours and Rs.20/- for eight hours in addition to 15 minute free pick and drop facility and Rs.300/- monthly pass applicable for all Market Parkings.
We assure that majority of trader community of approx. 50000 traders in City shall definitely avail of such monthly pass facility.
The MC Co-ordination Committee members headed by consisting of Charanjiv Singh President, Sanjeev Chadha Gen. Secy, Sharanjit Singh, Pritpal Sodhi, Radhey Lal Bajaj, Sanjiv Grover, Sushil Bansal, Ramesh Singla, Bharat Bhushan Kapila, Ritish Mohan Talwar called on today the office of Anup Gupta Mayor MC to convey there thanks for rationalizing parking charges in the MC House yesterday.
Charanjiv Singh President CBM complimented Mayor and MC house for for keeping parking fee in the City as rationalized to Rs.15 for first four hours and Rs.20/- for eight hours in addition to 10 minute free pick and drop facility and Rs.300/- monthly pass applicable for all parking since it shall prove most beneficial for city traders and we assure that majority of trader community of approx. 50000 traders in City shall definitely avail of such monthly pass facility.
The Mayor informed the delegation that the said monthly passes shall be available not only at special counter in MC Building Sector 17 but also in each e-Sampark centre and parking entrances in the city. …
Sanjeev Chadha, Gen. Secy. CBM appreciated that public shall now be free to pay parking charges online at the entrance of each Parking.
Diwakar Sahoonja, Patron CBM earlier in a response while welcoming free parking for Electric vehicles appealed for rationalization of proposed double parking charges for visiting outside registered vehicles.
