Chandigarh Beopar Mandal appeals for Helpdesk by Department or E-Sampark Centers for online registration by Shop Owners for Registration under Shop Act.
CHANDIGARH, 9 DECEMBER: Charanjiv Singh, President, Chandigarh Beopar Mandal today thanked Labour Commissioner, Assistant Labour Commissioner U.T. and Ruling Party BJP for acceding long pending demand of CBM to allow One Time Registration under Shop Act instead of yearly renewal of Shop Licenses. The new Law shall increase the ease of doing Business in the City.
Ravinder Singh, Advisor cum Chairman, Labour Cell of CBM while welcoming the notification demanded Help Desk to be set up in the Office of Labour Department for facilitation for One Time Registration.
Diwakar Sahoonja, Patron cum Official Spokesperson, CBM suggested online registration facility at every E-Sampark Centers in the City to benefit especially small and medium retailers of Chandigarh. Anil Vohra, Patron, and Labour Cell Member CBM requested the department to improve their website and provide provision for amendments so that traders can use it without any difficulty for registration and amendments.
