CHANDIGARH, 28 MARCH: The Library of DAV College and RAAH the Library Club organized the lecture on “Cultural Integration: A Boon for the Students to Thrive”. The keynote speaker was Mr. Vibhor Bhatnagar, a Tokyo (Japan) based Culture and English Lecturer and an Educational Consultant.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp. This was followed by Akash, President, RAAH who apprised the audience about the achievements about college. College librarian Mrs. Deepti Madaan introduced Mr.Vibhor Bhatnagar to the audience and read his profile. College Principal Dr. Pawan Sharma in his welcome address motivated the students to upgrade their skills and develop interdisciplinary mind set in today’s globalised world. Mr. Vibhor Bhatnagar in his talk enlightened the students to follow and sustain cultural integrity. He emphasized on the need to undertake self analysis and widen our knowledge and perspectives. The session was highly interactive with Mr. Bhatnagar guiding the students about their career prospects and the ways to assimilate in the multicultural global order.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sutapa Saryal. Team RAAH comprising Akaash, Himanshu, Nishtha, Himanshi, Vanshika and Rahul worked wholeheartedly for making the event successful.
