CHANDIGARH: A delegation of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal (CBM) consisting of Charanjiv Singh, President, Sanjeev Chadha, Gen. Secy. cum Chairman, M.C. Co-ordination Committee, Bhupinder Narad, Adviser, Naresh Mahajan, Gen. Secy., Anand Syal, Vice President, Mohit Sood, Secy. today called on new Commissioner, Mrs. Anindita Mitra, IAS to welcome her on joining as Commissioner MCC in city beautiful Chandigarh.
Charanjiv Singh, President, CBM and himself a nominated Councilor while presenting her the format welcome gave introduction of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal being sole apex body of traders of the city having representation of more than 125 sector markets welfare associations and trade welfare associations of Chandigarh, U.T.
Sanjeev Chadha, Gen. Secy. cum Chairman, M.C. Co-ordination Committee, CBM narrated the aims and objective of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal which include maintaining liaison with Chandigarh Administration, Municipal Corporation and other Govt. Departments for the purpose of raising trader’s issues from time to time for the purpose of achieving healthy growth of commerce in the city.
Naresh Mahajan, Gen. Secy., CBM put forward the social responsibility aspect of CBM by holding many charitable works and it’s important role in anti Corona campaigns by organizing Corona vaccination camps in various Markets of the city.
Bhupinder Narad, Adviser, CBM also talked about frequent organizing Blood Donation Camps, awareness campaigns and other charitable works in the markets by CBM.
Mrs. Anindita Mitra, Commissioner while thanking the delegation of CBM for the welcome, invited the Chandigarh Beopar Mandal for a comprehensive meeting in near future to discuss traders issues and problems related to Municipal Corporation.
