CHANDIGARH: चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस से पूर्व अध्यक्ष प्रदीप छाबड़ा के समर्थन में इस्तीफे का सिलसिला छाबड़ा के आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल होने के बाद भी जारी है। आज प्रदेश कांग्रेस के आरटीआई सैल के चेयरमैन जीएस अहलूवालिया तथा वाइस चेयरमैन विंग कमांडर (रिटायर्ड) जेएस भल्ला व राजेश गुलेरिया ने कांग्रेस की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से त्याग पत्र दे दिया। यही नहीं, जीएस अहलूवालिया, जेएस भल्ला व राजेश गुलेरिया इस्तीफे के साथ ही आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हो गए।
उल्लेखनीय है कि पार्टी में अपनी उपेक्षा से नाराज चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष प्रदीप छाबड़ा कल ही आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हुए हैं। दिल्ली में मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने खुद उन्हें आम आदमी पार्टी की सदस्यता ग्रहण कराई। इसके बाद आज चंडीगढ़ में प्रदीप छाबड़ा को बधाई व शुभकामनाएं देने के लिए उनके आवास पर सुबह से ही लोगों का तांता लगा हुआ है। इसी दौरान छाबड़ा के घर पहुंचे प्रदेश कांग्रेस के आरटीआई सैल के चेयरमैन जीएस अहलूवालिया तथा वाइस चेयरमैन विंग कमांडर (रिटायर्ड) जेएस भल्ला व राजेश गुलेरिया ने कांग्रेस से अपने इस्तीफे का ऐलान कर दिया तथा प्रदीप छाबड़ा के नेतृत्व में आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हो गए। उन्होंने कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सोनिया गांधी को जो इस्तीफा भेजा है, हम उसे यहां प्रकाशित कर रहे हैं। पढ़िए…

Respected Madam,
Greetings!
I am Gagandeep Singh Ahluwalia S/o Sh.M.S.Ahluwalia R/o 785 Sector 43 Chandigarh was a member of
your Party holding the post of Chairman RTI Cell of the Congress Party. Having strong belief in the
Congress ideology and had served the party for more than 15 years and participated in most of the
protests also performed the various duties with utmost honesty, responsibility and enthusiasm
whenever assigned by the Party. With heavy heart I hereby tender my resignation from the Primary
Membership of the Congress Party as well from the Post of Chairman RTI Cell of Congress Party. I have
taken the decision of quitting the party due to the following reasons:
** Ongoing filth spitting on the Ex-President of the CTCC by the present President Sh.Subhash Chawla Ji
and his associates without any logic. This has brought the demeaning to the party image in the eyes of
general public at large. It has never been a chance when we have seen such kind of acts which we have
been seeing from the last 3-4 months, how can a person having a stature of Party President stoop so
low. Over and above there has been a comment upon the family members of the Ex-president’s family. I
was here to serve a party having good ideology as well have respect for all its members. But looking into
the current scenario I felt that if this episode of spitting filth has been done on a person who served the
party for more than 35 years it will happen to me as well. I know people say he is from this group or that
group for those very people I want to mention here that I am party men will remain party men forever.
- Secondly, though I don’t have aspirations at present nor in future to hold any political post or having
berth in local committee but if your good self will see the list of the committee the same persons will be
there in different committees formed recently. Interestingly, those persons who had joined the party in
the recent years leaving their previous parties has got the berth in the committee’s not only this two
persons from the same family are given berths whereas Sh. Rahul Gandhi ji himself has set an example
by sacrificing the parties post of President ship being from Gandhi Clan whereas our local leaders are
setting the wrong precedents of promoting their respective wards and relatives. Kindly don’t misquote
me as there is no personal attack on any individual or anybody’s position.
So, in view of the circumstances mentioned above I deem it fit to put in my resignation from the Primary
Membership of the Congress Party as well from the Post of Chairman RTI Cell of Congress Party-
Chandigarh. I request you to kindly accept my resignation.
